Band Placement

The following suggestions will help you get the largest impact of the band for you and your guests. This will make for a very enjoyable and memorable musical experience for each and every one of you! Please remember that this band is comprised of "seasoned pros," and you can be sure that the volume level of the music will ALWAYS be comfortable for you.

SUGGESTIONS

1. Place the band in the same area as the guests. The band will adjust their volume accordingly. This makes for a more intimate and personal presentation for your guests. Avoid complete separation of the band and the guests such as at opposite ends of a swimming pool, tennis/basketball court or large yard/garden. Also avoid placing the band on an upper level balcony if the guests are on a different level.

2. Place the dance floor immediately in front of the band, not on the opposite side of the room. Your guests will enjoy the energy and excitement of the dancing much more if they are right next to the enthusiastic musicians.

3. Consider some type of lighting for the band if the event is outside during the evening or inside a dark venue. Your guests will enjoy the music performance much more if they can see the band.

4. If your event site is somewhat spread out, place the band in the area where you expect most people will gather for the longest portion of the evening. This spot is usually next to the bar. It's always lively and festive here, and your guests will be fully entertained if the band is nearby. The band will adjust their volume accordingly.

5.
Avoid placing the band near a water fountain or electric generator. The sound of these devices will often drown out the sound of the music.

6. For any performances of 2 or more hours, the band appreciates refreshments and/or a meal.

Please don't hesitate to call with any questions or requests.
